Medium-sized bridge sawing machine, already complete with all the accessories very much in demand, for small workshops and large plants suitable for cutting both slabs and blocks as well as marble and granite, manually or automatically. It meets the requirements of small and mass productions as well as difficult surface shaping works.

The structural parts of this machine (bridge, head and table) are all formed from cast iron, giving unrivalled long life, precision and corrosion resistance not to mention acoustic benefits. The blade cover and all guide guards are made from stainless for long life. The surface protection of the machine is starting with all the castings being sandblasted and hot-galvanizing of the surfaces in order to guarantee the perfect resistance to the corrosion.

The bridge translation (X axis) made by a pair of synchronised rack and pinions. The bridge moves on oil filled guides, which are protected from the inherent dusty and dirty cutting situation. The movement can be made manually by turning the hand wheel, or electrically with a controlled variable speed by operating the correct buttons or by initiating a program. The position of the bridge is displayed in tenths of millimetres on the colour screen located on the pendant.

The head cut/return slide motion (O axis) is also made by a rack and pinion and again moves on oil filled guides, which are protected accordingly. The cut and return speeds are regulated separately from the electronic controls located on the pendant. The cut and return limits are set electronically from the pendant.

The blade upward/backward motion (axis Y) is through two vertical chrome-plated sleeve, which are protected by cover guards, with adjustable top and bottom limits. The rise and fall movement is controlled electronically by and encoder and invertor. In order to increase productivity when granite cutting, the machine is able to rise or fall whilst still in the cut or return motion.

Tilting head movement for inclined cuts from 0 – 90° is performed electrically by a switch on the control pendant or my a programmed instruction. This head rotates around the bridge, thus enabling granite step cutting whilst carrying out inclined cuts.

Blade motor is direct drive to the blade, and is fitted with an electronic speed variator to enable the operator to change the blade rotation. This enables different peripheral blade speeds for cutting different materials. It is also fitted with an efficient water-cooling system.

The table can be locked in any position from 0 – 360° and is programmable to carry out orthogonal cuts (eg tiles or paving), round cuts and curvilinear profiles. On request a hydraulic rise and fall table can be supplied, giving a stroke of 450mm.

Max blade cutting depth is: 40cm deep. (15.75″). This allows for at least a 10″ to 12″ cut on a 45 degree angle.
